Grateful for the wonderful family-time – day 4

Hi friends,

Hope you all had a great day today as well!

The day went off well for me as well. The husband was working from home and the baby was happy to see another face during the daytime as well.

In the evening we spent a lot of time with the baby, playing with him and pampering him. The baby loved all the attention that he got from both of us and he enjoyed playing.

After all the playing, the baby and the father fell asleep for a short while.

I was happy for the family time and decided to have more of these. I recollected how my sister and I used to love having our parents around during the evenings and the weekends.

We used to love playing different card games, board games, monopoly, carrom etc… We used to love it when our parents joined us in our games.

Those days we had different groups with whom we used to play different games. We used to play with our grandparents and aunts, cousins, friends and so on.

When we were small, we used to visit my dad’s cousin’s house where we used to make big groups and play. We loved those days filled with laughter and games.

Even today, when I think about the wonderful family time we used to have, I am filled with a longing for those simpler times which were filled with laughter, teasing and lots of games.

So today,

I am grateful to have spent a wonderful family time with my husband and son.

I am also grateful for all those wonderful years that were spent with family, filled with laughter and games.

Can you recollect such moments in your life?
