How are you all doing today? It has been a good day for me as I could get a few things done in the house.
Every now and then, I have this urge of organising the shelves in the house. These shelves often get cluttered with extra things that need to go to their original places.
So today was one such day when I decided to tackle a few things lying around. It helped me remove the things that were no longer needed and make place for a few new things.
The process of organizing the shelves is very meditative for me. I go about doing it very mindfully, putting things in order and clearing the clutter. As a result, once it is done it gives me immense joy.
I was never an organised person before. But in the last few years I have changed. I no longer look at it as a chore. Instead, I look at it as a relaxation technique and go about doing it slowly. And this works for me, every single time.
I am grateful to the people (in my life) who instilled this organising habit in me.
I am grateful to have matured well and learnt to live a better life.
I am grateful for the time that I use to make my house, a better place.
I am grateful that doing these small things fills me with immense joy.
Does this make sense to you or is it just me?
